On February 6th I posted the first in what I hope will be a series of writers' challenges. You can see the jewelry piece that inspired it all from the link in the challenge post.
It gives me great happiness to announce that Yoon Ha Lee has won the "Moon in a Rocking Chair" challenge. He told me he intends to share his work, so as soon as there is a link to his story, I will add it to this post. EDITED TO ADD: And here it is!
There were many excellent entries, which made judging difficult in all the best ways. My thanks to everyone who entered, signal-boosted, encouraged the writers, and helped the Lioness. In particular, my deep gratitude to
jenett for receiving and anonymizing entries, keeping everything in good order, and general Lioness-wrangling.
The next Lioness Challenge will be coming soon.
