Only big news is that my condo is under contract (home inspection Monday) and I am moving, likely to Maryland (where I have been for the Pandemic).

OTOH I got to tell my parents the story of the cards jenett put together as a birthday gift for you when I talked to them last, so that was a nice reminder that there's still fun and good stuff that can happen.

Good to hear from you! I've managed to get a vaccination appointment for tomorrow — at Wal-Mart of all places, but hey, I'll take what I can get — and despite everything that's been happening here in Texas it looks like it's still on.

As I write this, I've had electricity for 21 hours, which is a longer stretch than at any time previously this week. Now if I could just get full water service back....

We had icicles for two days here in Louisiana (!!) but we were very lucky and did not lose power. (The power situation is not as bad as in Texas, but some people did in fact lose power.)

David is home from Cleveland! I can't SEE him for two weeks because quarantine after travelling, but he's home! He had wondered if the cats had forgotten him, but about fifteen minutes after he got in, he texted me a photo of Nuit on his lap and Ninja next to him on the couch. So.
