Michael Sheen's Dream

So someone asked Michael Sheen a few years back whether he had vivid dreams and would he share one?
He did.

Many years ago I dreamed I was in a relationship with a bat. We would walk around town together the bat sitting on top of my head with its wings wrapped around the sides of my face like one of those winter hats with flaps. We were very happy.

Michael Sheen's Dream

 

I dreamed once, many years ago

How sweet a bond could be

Such a relationship did grow

Between a bat and me

 

We’d stroll together through the town

Good company we were

For both of us were very soft

Though only one had fur

 

We walked and talked of many things

Upon my head rode bat

It wrapped my cheeks up with its wings

Just like an earflap hat

 

Ah, those days of bat and boy

Its wings so dear and flappy

I still recall those walks with joy

For we were very happy
