figuring out photo stuff

If I can figure out how to do it (and I plan to read the manuals, only I'm too tired to do so tonight), I want to put a picture here, instead of the amiable anonymous face.

There's one here that David Dyer-Bennet took a few years ago at a Guy Fawkes Day party, but I don't think it'll quite do. I love it dearly, though. That's the Obble on the right, and I'm the Obel on the left.Ï

Well, that, and that Neil Gaiman came running up to me the next time I saw him (the Guy Fawkes Day party was at his house, and DDB makes sure he gets pictures) to give me a copy of it as proof, he said, that I am an elf.

Which pleased me no end, I must say. I'm disappointed to have missed Neil at Minicon (I was away from the table moderating something when he came by, I suspect), and I really wish I had heard him interview Rick Berry. I heard it was wonderful.ô
