Jul. 23rd, 2024 10:18 pmAm feeling a great deal of sympathy with the hydrothermal system in Yellowstone's Biscuit Basin today. I too would like to hiss, emit steam, and throw rocks and dirt in the air.
(Nobody was hurt, though a boardwalk and viewing area got trashed. And no matter what clickbait headlines say, the hydrothermal system going boomsplash is NOT a volcanic eruption nor is it a sign of an impending one.)
