Until yesterday, my Etsy shop had been below 100 pieces for a long while. (Months and months. That is a very long while hereabouts.) And now it's at 111 pieces, and I am full of happiness about that, because it really does help.
OK, now some food and then some workbench. Yesssss. I may even get a Stardust pendant mostly done. And there's a tektite or ten waiting for me too.
What's the art in your life doing at the moment? Or what are you doing with it? Or both? Any milestones lately?

Date: 2023-12-05 12:19 am (UTC)I have only three chapters to go in revising what has turned out to be the longest novel I've ever written. (It's been, for the most part, a lot of fun.)

Date: 2023-12-05 03:00 am (UTC)After two and a half years of learning guitar, I'm going to play a set at a friend's Zoom filk/folk festival this weekend.
And husband and I just finished writing our first novel in a 16-book series and we're about 26,000 words into the second novel in the series. The first one is with our betas.

Date: 2023-12-05 03:17 am (UTC)I reached Day 100 on a personal animation/comic project (not done! but I have been persevering) and today I finally learned how to draw planes mirrored in perspective, which I have been wondering about (but failed to understand) for something like 35 years now. XD I am happy. :)

Date: 2023-12-07 12:46 am (UTC)Back in March, I had a pop-up sale at a small media convention and sold 27 skeins of my handspun. Which was great! It was the best sale in the shortest amount of time I've ever had. But it meant that I was seriously down in stash for the "real" sale at Shepherd's Harvest a month or so later. So that one was only sort of satisfactory, unless I combined the two sales mentally.
And then I spent a couple of months in the summer working on a long-planned project that provided me with (I hope) a sweater quantity of handspun, but meant that my for-sale stash languished during that time.
And then I had a reasonably successful sale in October, bringing down my for-sale stash even more.
Now I have to decide whether to get a booth at next year's Shepherd's Harvest. I can probably have 20 to 30 more skeins by then, so probably. I suppose at worst I'm out $160 dollars.
In the meantime, I'm still enjoying spinning, which is the most important thing.
