Monday but not a work Monday
May. 27th, 2024 11:07 pm It's Memorial Day here in the States, so not a workday, as I was reminded when I was scheduling various things recently. Yay, time to sleep in. Or, since my sleep schedule is pretty goofed up lately, time to sleep most of the day. The COVID booster on Friday definitely contributed to Sleep All the Sleeps mode here.
There's a little of the day left and I'm going up to the workbench for a bit. Today is a day to do things that relax and replenish me, so that I'm in better shape to do things that replenish other people. And I'm right on the edge of some very interesting artistic stuff. We shall see.
The other thing I need to do is write that Patreon post about quartz and why I love it. It's going to have seventy-leven parts anyhow, so I should probably just start, and let it be as fragmentary as it needs to be. Quartz is awesome, and there's so much more to it than most laypeople know.
Tonight included an excellent gaming session and a great phone call with a friend I dearly love.
What else I have been doing is reading Pratchett's Night Watch. It seems appropriate for the weekend that includes the anniversary of the Glorious 25th.
Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love, and a Hard-Boiled Egg!
